3 offbeat tourist attractions.

The world of traveling offers more bizare attractions for tourists who indulge in offbeat activities. Japan always leads this section and here is something for you to ponder.

1.Noodle Bath
How about a noodle bath? A noodle bath conjured up by an innovative Japanese businessman is said to act on acne and helps it vanish within 24 hours. Noodle bath also helps to increase metabolism.

2. Rat worship

I think it is probably the only place in the world where rats are worshiped. You can witness this bizare place in Rajasthan at Karni Mata temple. Karni Mata was a female sage and a temple was built for her by Maharaja Ganga Singh.

If a rat falls to death accidentally, a rat in pure gold is replaces it. Yes, rats are that much revered here.

3. Hall of cockroaches.
I remember reading long ago that there are huge cockroaches in Texas that car drivers will stop their cars to let them cross the road. It is no wonder when you hear of the Cockroaches Hall of Fame in Plano, Texas built by Michael Bohdan.

5 best travel books you must read.

Long before I started studying well in my schools, I developed a liking for travel related news, travelogues, novels that centered around world travel, travel adventures and so on.

I believe, travel novels are more widely read than sex or detective novels-eh? I think I have read thrice, 'A walk across America' written by Peter Jenkins.
And for all that attention that his book got, he only walked from New York to New Orleans during 1973-1975.

Here are 4 more best travel novels:
* Wanderlust: Real-Life Tales of Adventures and Romance
* The Lost Continent
* Holy Cow: An Indian Adventure
* A Search in Secret India
